UTIB continues to its promotional activities with Performance Days Munich 2025, the largest and most prestigious fair in Europe for technical textiles, held in Munich, gathering textile manufacturers, designers and distributors from all over Europe together. Held in Messe München C4 + C5 halls in Munich between 05-06 March 2025, the fair considers the recent developments in technology and sustainability together and combines the innovative enthusiasm of the sector with environmental sensitivities. In this sense, unlike a traditional commercial apparel fair, the event endeavours to support the reduction of carbon footprint, the protection of the planet and nature, the development and support of sustainable materials and production style, and the spread of environmental awareness throughout the entire supply chain.
A total of 494 companies from 37 countries, mainly from Taiwan, China, Italy and Germany, physically participated in the fair, and over 500 companies participated in total, a record number for the event, adding the companies participating in the digital supplier database titled ‘The Loop’. The exhibition, considered an important organisation for entering the European market especially in the fields of active wear, performance wear and bodywear, is closely followed by relevant buyers, agencies and designers. A total of 8 Turkish companies participated in the fair. Turkish company representatives expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the fair and the general visitor profile.
UTIB was also present at this important fair with an infodesk located in the ‘Expert Talks’ area. During the fair, and ‘İTKİB Hedef’ magazine and brochures promoting our functional textile organizations were distributed to the visitors from this point, and information about Turkish companies and the Turkish Textile sector was given to the visitors.
